here’s the thing- it’s winter and there are fewer people on the streets. so that makes it twice as hard for the single lass to find a possible mate. and if you haven’t got your winter warmer by now, it’s you and your electric blanket for the win.
and then my gf says to me- "why not just find some one to cuddle with, you know, no strings attached! grrrrrr, i detest that stupid term. nsa- no strings attached. for F&CKS SAKE! i want strings attached! i want expectations met. i want to know that my acquiescing to your request is going to lead somewhere. just this once. and once is all it really takes.
i’m sure you agree that this whole “let’s just be blasé and walk away unaffected” thing is getting very tired and old by now. if every NSA leaves you with that empty feeling and a cold side of the bed, then really what was the point? and if you’re a serial NSA addict (who secretly wants to be in a relationship) then when are you ever going to find a like minded person.
i’m holding out this winter. i will not waiver and compromise on the list. it might sound harsh but really it’s like going into aldo for peep toe heels and walking out with uggs. i know what i want and that’s what i’m getting. vive la revolution!

I do love my single status but not prepared to just give it up for just anyone. and why should we? The worst is when you like someone and start realizing how much you'd like to be part of a "we".
